Leopold van Itallie

Leopold van Itallie, nato a Dordrecht, Olanda, 1947. Vive ad Orciano di Pesaro (PU), Italia, dal 2003.

Si è formato all 'Accademia di Belle Arti di Utrecht e ha lavorato in qualità di Art-Director per la pubblicità a Bruxelles ed Amsterdam.

Ha studiato diverse tecniche presso l'accademia Ars Aemula Naturae a Leida, Olanda. Si fa ispirare dai pittori del Seicento come Rembrandt e Frans Hals, l'inglese William Turner e gli impressionisti olandesi e francese.

Leopold van Itallie, born in Dordrecht, Holland, 1947. Lives in Orciano di Pesaro (PU), Italy, since 2003.

He was educated at the Utrecht Academy of Fine Arts and worked as an art director for advertising in Brussels and Amsterdam.

He studied different techniques at Ars Aemula Naturae in Leiden. He gets his inspiration from the painters of the seventeenth century as Rembrandt and Frans Hals, the Englishman William Turner and the Dutch and French impressionists.
